To be honest, I went into this movie expecting a wannabe version of The Notebook disappoint me cheesy and cringeworthy character and passion. And, at least for the first half hour, that’s exactly what I got, but the great thing about Me Before You is that it is a hell of a lot better in each sc egrave; ne, ends up being a very pleasant, if not generic romantic drama.However, before going to the best part of this movie, I’m going to start with the first act is nearly half an hour wrought with problems, I expect that to continue through the whole movie. First, this film is a classic example of a bad first impression, in the form of Louisa, played by Emilia Clarke. With the benefit of hindsight and bowed her character, I could see that in the beginning Clarke’s performance was not his own bad acting, but rather a symptom of bad writing and simple directing.As movie starts, Louisa is presented as a beautiful but rather clumsy dark girl who lucks into a job taking care of the rich Will Traynor. However, despite all the smiles and brightly colored outfits are ridiculous luck in the first act meant that he just was not a very lovable character for me, so I continually frustrated for the best part hour.That half, combined with all the inevitable insanely cheesy and generic chick flick tropes, meant that I had no hope to go on to the second phase of the film. However, as the story develops, we get some great character development for both leads, and thanks to Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflins great chemistry, the film is very attractive, pleasant and enjoyable.Im just not going to the fact that the story follows a very stereotypical route to ignore start to finish, but what I really loved about this movie is watching wants to Louisa and build relationships, simply because two actors worked well and gave very convincing performance, especially in the case of Emilia Clarke, always got less as the film moved only cringeworthy along.Put, I finally came round to really enjoy me before you. Despite a terrible start, the film pleasant and positive atmosphere combined with Clarke and Claflins fantastic chemistry, I was laughing and enjoying myself at the end. It certainly is not the emotional roller coaster of a story of love is meant to be, but just as fun and enjoyable to watch, Me Before You did the job pretty well.
