Im a whos grown to hate the style found footage film. Going to be my biggest concern. But I must say M. Night doing a great job behind the camera. While this style of filming (for me anyways) has become obsolete, Shyamalan makes it feel fresh and new. There are some really beautiful and impressive images throughout the film, which was also really good to see. I also really enjoyed the performances of all. Especially the two children, they were surprisingly pretty incredible. The little boy came out so annoying at first, but it grows on you. And he ends up hysterical. Both grandparents were good too, but the grandmother stole the show between pair.In end, I really enjoyed the visit. It was an absolute blast. The whole audience was really into it, which really added to the experience. This is one of the most fun times I’ve had in the theater in quite some time. I recommend everyone to go see this movie, and see it in a crowd! Who would have thought that Shyamalan was able to take an intentional comedy? The visit is truly one of a kind, no other movies out there like this. It is so unique and so original, the more I think about it, the more I do it.And yes, there’s a twist.
